Our Females
Pearl
Pearl is a silver female lab that was born to be the queen of the pack. She takes on the role of mom to all the new pups and can't help herself to investigate new litters within their first days. She is a wonderful surrogate mother to all of our dogs. Pearl is gentle and loving and every once in awhile you can catch her cleaning the faces of Dani, Claire and Allie - she is the Mother of VJL Kennels.
Teach
Teach is a yellow female lab and if she could she would stay in the pool or lake 23 hours a day.
She LOVES water and is happy to show us by sitting right on our laps once she hops out of the pool. Teach loves her favorite blueberry cookies right before bed each night. She is sweet, shy and a kind gentle dog - we all love our Teach.
Sarah
Sarah is an active female silver lab that always has to have a ball or a stuffed toy in her mouth. Her best day is to run with Hank and see who can fetch the ball first. Sarah is loyal, kind and is always waiting for her next walk with the family.
Emily (Emmie)
Emily is a white female lab who is a gentle soul. She is always everyone's favorite or the favorite lab for the other dogs to play with. Children and adults are drawn towards her because she wraps around your legs within 10 minutes of meeting you. She is lean and athletic but when she needs a bit of extra attention she falls to her side rolls over onto her back and lets anyone rub her belly. Emmie is a thief of fresh egg so we try and keep her away from the chicken coup at all measures.. we worry she may cluck one day.
Danielle (Dani)
Danielle is a champagne female that is very athletic. She is constantly moving, running, jumping and playing. She is mischievous and is always stealing Sarah bones, stuffed toys or her ball even though she has many of her own to play with. Dani is either playing on full steam or heavily sleeping with her stolen bones.
Claire (One of Double Mint twins)
The Double Mint Twins are charcoal female labs that are so sweet and gentle. Claire follows Allie everywhere. Both love to roll around in the tall grass and have their favorite cookie every night before bed. Allie has learned the game of fetch with Sarah and Hank and has started to catch up with Sarah at who gets the ball first. Allie loves her double mint twin Claire and is always wanting to sleep right by Claire's side.
